Din Tai Fung’s longan cakes are made with carefully selected longan, sourced locally from Tainan in southern Taiwan, and smoked over a longan wood fire. Isomalto-oligosaccharides and trehalose are added to the longan filling to create a taste that is sweet but not overly so, and finished with a golden buttery crust. It is a traditional treat that will bring you warmth.
